The valleys Val Scura and Val di Sant'Agapito delimit an elevation characterized by very steep grassy slopes, it is Palmar Mt., south-east shoulder of Tre Pietre Mt., it is placed northern of  Cesio and hangs above the villages of Marianne, Cergnai and Campel.

The lower and wooded part of the mountain is suitable to be explored by bycicle, from the gravel road of Pra di Montagna it is possible to descend both to Cesio and to Campel, otherwise it is possible to pedal to Rissac and to reach the old (and terrifically placed) San Mauro's curch.

La Val Scura e la Val di Sant'Agapito delimitano un rilievo caratterizzato da ripide pale erbose, è il Monte Palmar, propaggine sud-est del nodo del monte Tre Pietre, si erge a nord di Cesio e domina le frazioni di Marianne, Cergnai e Campel.
La parte bassa e boscosa si presta ad essere esplorata in bicicletta, dalla strada bianca di Pra di Montagna si può scendere sia verso Cesio che verso Campel, oppure si può raggiungere Rissac e la chiesetta di San Mauro.

From the summit there is a wonderful view on the Val Belluna, from Col Visentin to Cesen Mt.s, and over to Grappa Mt. and Asiago plateau. On the other side there is the SW face of the dolomitic Pizzocco Mt., the best summit of the area. On the grassy slopes it is easy and frequently to see muflons, a "goat" originally from Sardinia island and spread in south Dolomites for hunting purposes;  muflons are easy to see and also to hear their bleatings and hisses, but I wasn't able to take a nice picture (in my partially justification I had the camera at home and the smartphone was shut off and inside the backpack).

Dalla cima si può godere di una magnifica vista sulla Val Belluna, dal Col Visentin al Cesen, e oltre fino al Grappa e all'altipiano di Asiago. Dall'altro lato c'è il versante sud ovest del dolomitico Pizzocco, la miglior cima della zona. Sulle pale erbose è facile e frequente vedere i mufloni, "capre" originarie della Sardegna ed introdotte nelle Dolomiti per scopi venatori; i mufloni sono facili da vedere ed anche da sentire i loro belati e fischi, ma non sono stato capace di scatare una fotografia (a mia parziale discolpa avevo la macchina fotografica a casa ed il telefono era spento e nello zaino).

I followed an other trail to go down and I saw a beautiful white flower, it was hard to take a picture because the sun was already in other countries, therefore the light was weak and the wind was moving the flower. After a while I recorded on the smartphone the picture on the header, and I start to think: what is the name of this flower? Suddenly a word start to run in my mind: narcissus! In the morning I have spoken with a colleague about this flower and the best periods to look white meadows, in the evening I accidentally founded the flower!

Ho seguito un altro sentiero per scendere ed ho visto un bellissimo fiore bianco, è stato difficile fotografarlo perché il sole era già in altri stati, la luce era debole ed il vento muoveva il fiore. Dopo un po' sono riuscito ad imprimere nella memoria del telefono la fotografia nell'intestazione ed ho iniziato a pensare quale nome potesse avere il fiore. Improvvisamente una parola ha iniziato a vorticare nella testa: narciso! In mattinata avevo parlato con un collega proprio di questo fiore ed i periodi migliori per vedere i prati bianchi, in serata ho casualmente trovato il fiore!

The best places to see narcissus blooming are on the other side of Val Belluna, near Zelant and Colderù, these location have a north orientation, therefore there are one or two weeks to wait the full blooming.

What else? My head lamp was quickly discharging, therefore I ran down to the car.

I migliori posti per vedere le fiorniture di narcisi sono sull'altro versante della Val Belluna, presso Zelant e Colderù. queste localitù hanno un'orientazione a nord, quindi ci saranno una o due settimane da aspettare per vedere la piena fioriture.

Cos'altro? La frontale si stava scaricando velocemente, quindi sono corso giù alla macchina.
