Prima alba e primi passi nel 2017

Happy new year

2016 ended in Posa Puner mountain hut with Trail Hunters, eating a lot of food and drinking the same amount of wine. 2017 started with a splendid dawn on Veneto plain and then... a hike on the grassy ridge that connect Mount Cesen with Mount Visentin.
Il 2016 è finito al rifugio Posa Puner con i Trail Hunters, mangiando un sacco di cibo e bevendo la stessa quantità di vino. Il 2017 è iniziato con una splendida alba sulla pianura veneta e quindi... con una camminata sulla dorsale che collega il Cesen con il Visentin.

Dolomites seen from Mount Prenduol

The highest elevation is a rolling hill: Mount Prenduol. I had never heard about it, it's not a summit or a peak: it's a pasture, but it was on my path to the Olt de la Val de l'Arc (vault of the valley of the arch), a strange geologic formation with a story linked on the boundaries between two municipalities.
La più alta elevazione è un colle rotondeggiante: Monte Prenduol. Non ne avevo mai sentito parlare, non è una cima o una guglia: è un pascolo, in ogni caso era sulla mia strada per l'Olt de la Val de l'Arc, una strana formazione geologica con una storia legata ai confini fra due comuni.
