On the east side of Tofane there are two minor elevation connected by a large ridge: Tonde de Cianderou 2273 m and Ra Zesta 2420 m.
Sul versante Est delle Tofane ci sono due elevazioni minori connesse da una dorsale: i Tonde de Cianderou 2273 m e Ra Zesta 2420 m.
It's not a long walk, but it's not a popular mountain, a lot of times I never meet anyone; anyway I consider it an interesting corner of (my) the world. It's possible to spot wild animals (as in the headline picture), there are wildflowers and an amazing landscape.
Non è una lunga camminata, ma non è una montagna frequentata, spesso non ho incontrato nessuno; comunque lo considero un angolo interessante del (mio) mondo. E' possibile avvistare animali selvatici (come nella foto in introduzione), ci sono fiori di montagna ed un paesaggio straordinario.

On the northern summit it's possible to see some works done during the First World War: trenches, galleries, stairs, etc. 
Sulla cima nord è possibile vedere alcuni lavori eseguiti durante la Prima Guerra Mondiale: trincee, gallerie, scale, eccetera.

At the foot of the two major summits of Tofane's massif there is a glacier, or better: there is a small glacier on the eastern side that is visible from Ra Zesta; an other glacier, smaller and debris covered, is (or better was) on the western side, Manu, Schena and me walked on it when we skied the Tofana de Inze.
Ai piedi delle due cime principali delle Tofane c'è un ghiacciaio, o meglio: c'è un piccolo ghiacciaio sul versante est visibile da Ra Zesta; un altro ghiacciaio, più piccolo e coperto di detriti è (forse è più corretto "era") sul versante occidentale, Manu, Schena ed io ci abbiamo camminato sopra quando abbiamo sciato la Tofana de Inze.
